Fuegokoori Trio performing in Melaka

International Summer Masterclasses 2012

We'll be performing and teaching in KL again, and this time the theme is Vienna comes to China. Join us from 21-25 August for master classes and seminars as well as open cello ensemble rehearsals culminating in a final student/faculty performance on 25th August!

After that, we'll take the stage on 28th August for a night of Viennese composers, Mozart and Schubert, coupled with a delightful piece by Zhou Long, Secluded Orchid.

Lisa Smirnova - Piano Master Class and Concert

Join us for a wonderful time at Allegro Music & Arts, where Lisa Smirnova, concert pianist and teacher, will be performing from her newly released album of Georg Friedrich Händel’s Eight Great Suites (1720), also known as “The Eight London Suites” or “Suites de Pièces pour le Clavecin”.

Performance coming up in Melaka, Malaysia

I’ll be joining fabulous jazz pianist, Tay Cher Siang, for a rousing evening of cello and piano. The concert is a special performance for cancer survivors and caregivers, but there will be room for other guests as well.

On the program will be mixed, with some classical favorites like Bach and Mozart, to jazz and chinese oldies.

Amazing event at Segi College

It was a great start to what will hopefully be a fruitful long-term relationship with the H.E.A.R.T. Foundation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2 well-received concerts of chamber music masterpieces including works from Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Brahms. Next year promises to be even more spectacular!

Our final concert was held at the Japan Club, to an enthusiastic audience. Looking forward to having more exciting concerts at this charming venue!

Masterclasses at Allegro Music just finishing

Well, the masterclasses at Allegro Music have now officially finished, but there are still inquiries for extra classes this coming week. Our program now is 4 upcoming concerts: At the Russian Cultural Centre, Segi College and the Japan Club.

Very exciting days here in Kuala Lumpur, with great chamber music and an excitement in the air that is so seldom experienced.

Try and make it to one of our performances, they will be September 9, 10 and 11.

Playing with the MPO

This week, I’ll be playing in the MPO for their final subscription concert on July 22: Dvorak Symphonies 7 and 8. So far it’s a great experience playing with them again, and I’m looking forward to the concert!
